The OWI Snowboard team has spent the past few weeks training at Mammoth Mountain, with all team members making excellent progress. The three men in the team – Andrew Burton, Mitchell Allan and Ben Mates - have been working on some very technical tricks including backside 900 and cab 1080, and attempting to incorporate these difficult manoeuvres into their competition runs.

Frances Miller, who was injured at the Whistler World Cup, has now made a complete recovery, and is back stronger than ever. Miller has been working very hard on her fitness over the last month and is looking very strong and full of energy in training, ready to get back into competition.

The team now has a two week training camp before starting the last leg of the World Cup tour in Japan. The athletes going to Japan will be Andrew Burton, Mitchell Allan, Ben Mates, and Frances Miller. All are in good spirits and looking forward to getting a very solid run down before heading to the final leg of the tour.
