Australia's hopes of dominating the swimming world championships have suffered a major blow with Olympic stars Eamon Sullivan and Hayden Stoeckel ruled out.
Freestyle sprint ace Sullivan has withdrawn for the championships, which start in Rome on July 26, after struggling to overcome a virus that has hampered his preparation while in Europe for the past six weeks.
