Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships team announced

Gymnastics Australia has announced its team for the 31st Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships.

GYMNASTICS: Gymnastics Australia has announced the Individual and Synchronised Trampoline team which will compete at the 31st Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships, in Denmark between the 26th and 29th of November.

A crop of fresh faces are in the women's line up, making their senior Australian team debut including current National Champion Clarie Arthur. Joining Arthur on the team is Abbie Watts who finsihed 6th at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games along with High Flyers gymnast, Eva Kierath. Arthur and Kierath will also compete in the Synchronised competition.

The Men's Team will have a wealth of senior international experience, with all four team members having competed at last years World Championships. Blake Gaudry will take to the air as the 2015 Australian Champion and will be joined by Tasmanian Jack Penny and brothers Shaun and Ty Swadling who will also compete together in the Synchronised competition. Rising star and Senior debutant Dominic Clarke also joins the team as a Reserve.

The team is set with strong foundations following Shaun's 7th place finish in the Individual Trampoline final at last years World Championships and will be aiming to get a foot on the podium in 2015.

This years World Championships are a qualification event for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
