Urs Vescoli has slid to Australia’s best skeleton result, finishing 14th in a World Cup in St Moritz.

Urs Vescoli has slid to Australia’s best skeleton result, finishing 14th in a World Cup in St Moritz.

Vescoli recorded a time of two minutes 21.86 for his two runs, just 2.28 seconds slower than race winner Chris Soule of the United States.

The Australian’s previous best result was 19th in Altenberg earlier this season.

Shaun Boyle, who also has an early season 19th to his credit, was back in the field in St Moritz, finishing 28th of the 39 sleds.
