Craig Branch has finished in 51st place in the World Cup super G in Whistler, Canada.
Skiing on the course that will be used for the 2010 Olympics, Branch posted a time of one minute 29.58 seconds, 2.98 seconds behind race winner Christoph Gruber of Austria.
Gruber covered the Dave Murray Downhill course in a time of 1:26.60 to claim his first victory for two years.
Hannes Reichelt was three hundredths of a second behind his team-mate in second place, while bronze went to Ales Gorza of Slovenia, .08 further back
French skier Didier Cuche maintained his lead on the super G standings after finishing in seventh place.
He has 354 points for the season while Gruber has moved up to second place on 284 points.
