Christian started Biathlon in 2012 at the Australian Biathlon Hawthorn Laser Club.

Christian's entire family is involved with Biathlon, in fact, his older brother Jethro competed at the Lillehammer Youth Olympic Games in 2016.


Throughout the 2019 domestic season, Christian competed in the Australian Biathlon Championships, the Victorian Biathlon Championships and the Australian Continental Cup, where he consistently placed in the top 3 for his age group.

Christian also competed in the 2019 World Junior Championships where he placed 99th in the youth men 7.5km sprint race and 101st in the youth men individual 12.5km race.
