Shortly after Mia learned how to walk, she was put on a pair of skis.

Her first ski trip was when she was just 3 years old and she fell in love with the feeling of freedom that the sport gave her.

Now, at the age of 15, Mia believes that anything is possible and is excited for her future in freestyle skiing.

As a member of the NSW Institute of Sport, Mia trains with her coach, Leon Tarbotton, at Perisher Ski Resort.

At the 2019 Junior World Championships Mia placed 7th in the Big Air event, an achievement she considers to be a career highlight.

Mia also placed 15th in the Slopestyle event at Junior Worlds, and at the 2019 Australian New Zealand Cup she achieved an impressive 2nd place in Big Air.
