Zana grew up in a very sporty family, with her father having competed at three Winter Olympic Games in Cross-Country skiing.

Her mother is also a dual Winter Olympian, having competed for the Netherlands in Speed Skating.

The one thing Zana loves most about competing in her sport are the vibes before race day, when everyone is skiing in the course and testing their skis.

She also loves having fun with her teammates and going on training camps with her friends.

Recently, Zana became the U16 National Champion in the distance event.

In addition, she was the 2nd Australian at the National Opens Falls Cree Skate Sprint and 3rd Australian at the Nationals Opens Perisher Distance Classic.
