TEAM: The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) is delighted to announce the Welcome Home Celebrations for the 2012 Australian Olympic Team, presented by Fitness First.

In announcing the celebrations from the London Olympic Village, the 2012 Australian Olympic Team Chef de Mission Nick Green said “We are thrilled the Welcome Home Celebrations are happening again in what is now a tradition for our Olympic Teams. We are excited our Team partner Fitness First are presenting the national Celebrations and we are delighted with the positive response from all of Australia’s State Premiers, Chief Ministers and Lord Mayors of our capital cities, who are sharing the Olympic spirit in hosting the celebrations”

“We are all very proud of the way our 2012 Team has competed in London. We have a few days left of solid competition but once these Games have closed our athletes will look forward to the opportunity to thank Australia for their passionate support”.

Following the Team’s arrival back to Sydney on 15 August, the schedule for the Welcome Home Celebrations is:
