TAEKWONDO: Australia have claimed four senior medals at the G1 Indonesia Open in Jakarta over the weekend.
London 2012 Olympian Carmen Marton won gold in the under 62 division after defeating Egypt's Rewan Mohamed Abdelfattah Madb in the final to continue her strong build up towards the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Carmen's younger brother Jack, who is targeting his first Olympic Games in Rio, secured a bronze medal in the under 80kg division.
Tom Afonczenko (under 68kg) and Tahlia Briggs (over 73kg) also both finished with bronze for Australia.
Rounding out a strong weekend for the Australian team was a junior gold medal performance from Denim Eccles (under 63kg) and a junior bronze to Jomil Millares (under 45kg).
The results come off the back of a silver medal finish from London 2012 Olympian Safwan Khalil at the Polish Open at the end of August.
