On an Olympic adjusted field basis, the Torino Olympian sits at 26th place on the rankings, with the Vancouver field set at 30 competitors.

Natalia Yakushenko of Ukraine won the Nation Cup event, while Tatjana Hufner collected gold in the ensuing World Cup event on the 1994 Olympic track.

The German finished just 0.016 seconds ahead of compatriot Natalie Geisenberger.
