Russ Henshaw, 20, also won bronze in the men's event. Slopestyle is new to the FIS freestyle ski world championship program having developed a cult following throughout the North American and European X Games.
A decision on whether to include slopestyle at the Sochi Games in Russia will be made by the IOC in April.
