Australia’s Olympic beach volleyball hopefuls Chris McHugh and Josh Slack and Becchara Palmer and Louise Bawden have progressed to the round of 16 in their respective men’s and women’s competitions after the opening day’s play at the Asian Beach Volleyball Championships in Haikou, China.
