Beck, 23, from Brisbane, came in second in his opening heat behind Michael Gildy of Canada.
He was disqualified in his semi-final round, but ended the event in 17th overall, his third top 18 placing in the opening two events.
OWI team-mate Lachlan Hay finished in sixth place in his opening heat, but fought his way through the repechage heats, quarters and semis to win a place in the repechage final, contending for a place back in the main finals field.
He finished in third place in the repechage final, missing a place in the final, but securing 19th place overall, two spots behind Beck.
