Tatiana Borodulina has skated to three top ten placings in a World Cup in Montreal, Canada, taking a major step toward qualifying for all three events at Vancouver 2010.
Borodulina ended the four day short track speed skating competition with ninth placings in the 500m and 1000m, after going out in the quarter-final round of each.
The Brisbane 24-year-old also made the B final of the 1500m, finishing in tenth place overall.
Lachlan Hay was the best of the AIS men, skating to 25th place in the 1000m, keeping alive his hopes of an Olympic berth, while Brisbane team-mate Jeremy Beck ended in 31st position in the same event, also inside the Olympic qualifying quota.
The second and final stage of Olympic short track qualification will take place in the Wisconsin city of Marquette next weekend.
