Christopher Spring and Duncan Harvey have won a bronze medal in Race 3 of the FIBT America’s Cup Series in Calgary, Canada.

The pairing finished .08 secs behind the American pairing of Grayson Fertig and Cory Butner in second place and 0.98 seconds behind winners Mike Kohn and T.J Burns also from the USA.

The event attracted 20 entrants from USA, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Korea, France and Slovakia.

The other Australian pairings of Sam De Vries and Duncan Pugh finished in 16th place 4.52 seconds behind and Travis Sheehy and Beau Lewis finished 18th, 5.12 seconds behind.

All Australian athletes will be looking for more strong performances in the rest of the series
