Hannah Campbell-Pegg has finished in 37th place in a Nation’s Cup luge event in Igls.
The Torino Olympian raced down the Austrian track in a time of 40.892 seconds to finish 0.841 seconds behind the fastest sled of German Corinna Martini.
She was also just 0.37 seconds outside a qualifying place in the following day’s World Cup event.
The World Cup gold went to Germany’s Natalie Geisenberger in a two run total time of 1 minute 19.229 seconds, with compatriots Tatjana Hufner and Anke Wischnewski collecting the minor medals.
Campbell-Pegg finished in 37th place overall.
The second World Cup of the season will be held in Altenberg, Germany, on December 5/6.
