Following Jay McCarthy’s exceptional ride into 2nd in the men’s time trial, Australia’s cyclists will be at it again when Kirsten Dellar and Matt Dunsworth take to the Tampines Bike Park BMX track tomorrow.
Dellar who has to compete in three disciplines is savouring the thought of competing in her pet event. “I am going to show those mountain bike girls what BMXer’s can do.”

Based on season best performances all four athletes are capable of reaching the A finals but they will need to achieve close to or new personal bests at Bishan Stadium.

The baby of the Team, Angela Donald will contest the blue ribband All Around artistic gymnastics final. The 14-year-old qualified in seventh and will add some extra difficulty to some of her routines. She looked comfortable in qualifying and will no doubt do Australia proud again.
For the first time partners from different countries will compete in archery tomorrow, having been paired based on scores from the ranking stage of the individual event.
