Weightlifting – 2024 IWF World Cup
Weightlifters from around the world will come together in Phuket, Thailand from Sunday 31st March to Thursday 11 April for the IWF World Cup, the final compulsory competition for athletes aiming to earn qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Brenna Kean, Kiana Elliott, Jacqueline Nichele, Sarah Cochrane, Eileen Cikamatana, Kyle Bruce and Oliver Saxton are the Australian lifters in contention for Olympic qualification.
The World Cup is the final qualifying event for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with the top 10 athletes in each of the 10 categories earning an Olympic quota spot at 28 April.

Sailing – Trofeo Princesa Sofía Mallorca
Only a day after their selection to the Paris 2024 Australian Olympic Team, Olivia Price, Evie Haseldine, Jim Colley and Shaun Connor are set to compete alongside 41 of their Australian Sailing teammates at the Trofeo Princesa Sofia Mallorca in Spain.
Beginning on Friday in Palma, Australia will be competing in the mixed 470, 49er, 49erFX, Formula Kite, ILCA 6, ILCA 7, Nacra 17, men’s and women’s iQFOiL.

Surfing – Bells Beach Pro
The World Championship Tour has come from Portugal to Australia for the Bells Beach Pro, the oldest surfing competition in the world, running from Tuesday 26 March to Friday 5 April.
Bells Beach local Ellie Harrison knocked out defending champion and compatriot Tyler Wright in the round of 16, and is the sole Australian woman to make the final eight. On the men’s side, four Australians are still in contention, including defending champion Ethan Ewing, who is through to the final 16.

Surf conditions have caused the organisers to pause the event on Thursday and Friday, with a return to competition scheduled for Saturday.

Golf – LPGA & PGA Tour
The PGA tour shifts to Texas and the LPGA tour heads to Arizona for some of our top men's and women's golfers.
Cam Davis, Jason Day and four other Aussies will be teeing up at the Houston Open overnight, where the last Aussie winner of the tournament was Matt Jones in 2014.
Minjee Lee, Hannah Green, Grace Kim and six fellow Aussies will contest the Championship at the Seville Golf and Country Club.

Judo – Antalya Grand Slam
Tokyo Olympian Aoife Coughlan will be Australia’s sole competitor at the Antalya Grand Slam in Turkey over the weekend from March 29-31.
The event will see 640 competitors from 93 countries come together to compete.
