Australian junior figure skating champion Cheltzie Lee has made an excellent international debut, finishing in fifth place in the Vienna Cup in Austria.
Lee was placed sixth in the field of 33 after the first program, then skated to fourth place in the free program, finishing fifth overall.
The Campbelltown 14-year-old scored a total of 121.21 points from the judges.
In an an American double at the head of the field, Rachel Flatt moved past first round leader and compatriot Kristine Musademba to take the gold on 154.65 points. Musademba scored 137.16 points, while Jenni Vahamaa of Finland was third on 125.43 points.
Perth teenager Matthew Precious, who celebrated his 15th birthday yesterday, is lying in 21st place on 25.31 points after the short program of the junior men's competition.
He will skate the free program tonight.
