Sophie Muir was also in record territory, creating a new national time for the 1000m of 1:18.01, while Josh Lose skated to a record 1:48.59 for the 1500m.

Ben Southee could not match Greig on the Canadian ice, but did set pbs in the 500m and the 1000m.

Calgary will host a Speed Skating World Cup next weekend.
