NSWIS/SSA athlete Sam Hall has continued his impressive start to World Cup mogul skiing, finishing just outside the top 20 in his third outing at the highest level.

In the absence of the injured Dale Begg-Smith and Ramone Cooper, Hall finished in 22nd place in the Voss World Cup, scoring 23.04 points from the judges.

Remarkably, the Perisher skier earned the fourth highest air points of the competition.

The result is a significant step for Hall in his attempt to meet the qualifying requirements for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games.

Canadian Alexandre Bilodeau went on to win the gold medal with 26.63 points, from Finnish skier Tapio Luusua on 25.99 points.
