Australia's mogul skiing athletes tackle their last World Cup before Torino 2006 on Saturday, competing in the Czech Republic resort of Spindleruv Mlyn.

Dale Begg-Smith leads the World Cup standings by 169 points after winning the past three events, and taking four of the seven World Cups contested so far this season.

Although a good result at the weekend would put him well within reach of the World Cup title, with just two more events scheduled after the Games, the major focus for the 20-year-old skier is obviously the Olympic podium.

Olympic Winter Institute head moguls coach Steve Desovich will be happy if each his athletes comes away from the event in one piece.

"The guys will be working on some individual things in this final event, but basically I just want to make sure that they come away healthy," Desovich said.

"Dale's already proved his point on World Cup, and the only thing that's important for him is to ski well and perform well at the Games."

"Whether he pushes for a lot of preparation this weekend or just takes it easy will be up to him."

"He will probably be taking it as he usually does, which is pretty relaxed."

Michael Robertson, on track for the best season of his career with a current ranking of 14th in the world, Jason Begg-Smith and Nick Fisher will also be competing in the Czech Republic event, along with Australia's sole women's World Cup mogul skier Manuela Berchtold.
