PYEONGCHANG 2018: For the first time in 20 years, the gold medal for the two-man bobsleigh has been shared by two teams -- Canada and Germany.

Snowboard Big Air made its Olympic debut at the Alpensia Ski Jumping Centre, with Austria's Anna Gasser landing one of her hardest tricks and topping the women's qualifiers in the inaugural competition.

The reigning Big Air World Champion pulled off a cab double cork 1080 and was awarded an impressive 98.00 points -- but she's not letting it affect her ahead of Friday's 12-woman final.
"I've been to so many snowboarding competitions, I know a lot of stuff can happen in finals so I don't get over my head," she said.
"I still have to stay focussed and humble but it is for sure good for the confidence that I could land the hard trick under pressure. I've only did (stick) that once before, so it's cool."

The Figure Skating continued in Gangneung, with Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir taking the lead in the ice dance short dance, scoring an impressive 83.67 points.

Virtue and Moir are expected to battle it out for gold and silver with their main rivals, France's Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron who skated into second position with 81.93 points.
The USA's Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue finished in third place following the conclusion of the short dance with 77.75 points.
"We really want to win this individual gold. It's a really deep field and we have to really be on our game," Moir said.
"The Americans are so strong, the French are so strong and we even have a Canadian in the mix. We just have to keep going and keep plugging away, it's a two-day event.
"We know our work isn't over, it's a long event. The biggest chunk is tomorrow [Tuesday] and we have to stay on our game."
The free dance will be held on today.
It was an historic day for Norway at the men's 500m speed skating event, with Havard Lorentzen winning the country's first gold in the event since 1948.
Lorentzen secured Norway's 27th medal of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and was joined on the podium by Korea's Min Kyu Cha and China's Tingyu Gao, who claimed silver and bronze respectively.

The women's Ski Halfpipe qualifications were underway at Phoenix Snow Park ahead of Tuesday's final, with Canada's Cassie Sharpe taking out the top spot after recording a whopping 93.40 for her second run.
As the top qualifier, the 25-year-old said that she hopes she has set herself up for a potential victory.
"I was like, 'OK, I want to qualify first because I want to drop last in the final'," she said.
"Because if you do well through that, you can drop last, and it's your victory lap. It's the best feeling in the world. So if I can get another one of those, I mean, I'm so excited."

Sochi 2014 silver medallist Marie Martinod (France) qualified in second place with a score of 92.00.
Norway claimed it's 11th gold medal of PyeongChang 2018 after their victory in the men's Ski Jumping team event on Monday.
Germany claimed silver while Poland secured bronze.
Canada and the USA will battle it out for gold in the women's Ice Hockey finals on Thursday after both recorded victories in the semi-finals on Monday.
The USA defeated Finland 5-0 while Canada defeated Olympic Athletes from Russia (OAR) 5-0.
It was another action packed day at Gangneung Curling Centre with the women's and men's round robin sessions continuing.
Team USA recorded victories against Denmark, Canada and China, while Great Britain defeated Denmark and Switzerland. For a full list of Monday's results click HERE.
