PYEONGCHANG 2018: The Czech Republic's Ester Ledecka has made history at PyeongChang after becoming the first athlete to win Olympic golds in both skiing and snowboarding at a single Games on Saturday.
The 22-year-old, who won gold in the women's snowboard parallel giant slalom a week after her victory in the alpine skiing super-G, said she was grateful for the continued support of her team.
"Without them I can't really be here," she said.
"It was much burden the last week. After the super-G, a lot of people just coming and just, 'Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations'. I'm like, 'Whoa so nice'. I couldn't change very much for the snowboard because they were still little bit reminding me you're a skier, you did great success which was very nice."

The Alpine mixed team event made its Olympic debut on Saturday with Switzerland defeating fellow ski giants Austria 3-1 in the final.
Switzerland's Ramon Zenhaeusern, who also won silver in the men's slalom, now returns home with two medls from PyeongChang.
"It's crazy. The dream continued," he said.
"Now I go home with a gold medal and a silver medal. I'm really proud of our team that we made it. Dream team."
The 4-man bobsleigh event was also underway at the Olympic Sliding Centre, with Germany's Francesco Friedrich setting a track record of 48.51 seconds on his first run on the track.
"It went very well today," he said.
"We started good, we drove clean and yeah, we can go sleep good tonight, I think."

Finland's Iivo Niskanen won gold in the men's 50km classic at Alpensia Cross-Country Skiing Centre in 2:08.22 seconds, 18.8 seconds ahead of silver-bedallist Alexander Bolshunov (OAR) and 2:37.5 ahead of bronze medallist Andrey Larkov (OAR).
It was another action packed day of Curling at Gangneung with the USA defeating Sweden to win gold in the men's tournament.
