Australian Snowboarders have been taking part in the final Snowboard races of the 2004-2005 season, competing in the Canadian National Championship events.

Australian Snowboarders have been taking part in the final Snowboard races of the 2004-2005 season, competing in the Canadian National Championship events.

Snowboard Cross
Jo Shaw and Damon Hayler both recorded the leading result for Australia, finishing in fifth place. Just behind Jo Shaw in the women's event was Stephanie Hickey in sixth place. Taan Robrahn also competed, finishing in 10th place. The respective men's and women's events were won by Canadian National team members Tom Velisek and Maelle Ricker.

Jo Shaw finished in sixth place in the Parallel Slalom, with the event being won by USA World Cup rider Lisa Kosglow. Young Australian athlete, Danielle Wilton finished in 31st place.

In the Parallel Giant-Slalom, Jo Shaw recorded her strongest performance of her career, winning the event, in a field that contained some of the leading North American World Cup athletes. The result ends Jo season on a high, and also gives her FIS point World Ranking a boost. Danielle Wilton finished in 33rd place.
