OWI halfpipe team member Ben Mates has registered a second qualifying result for the Torino Games, finishing in 32nd place in Saas-Fee, Switzerland, to just make a top 60 per cent of field result.
Team-mate Holly Crawford, who posted a top 20 per cent qualifying result in the season opener in Valle Nevado in September, finished in 23rd place in the Saas-Fee women's event.
The remaining two OWI team members, Andrew Burton and Mitch Allan, placed 39th and 65th.
The men's event was won by up and coming star Kazuhoro Kokubo, the first World Cup victory for the 17-year-old rider. Finland's Antti Autti took the silver.
The women's event went to Melo Imai, the reigning 2005 World Cup champion, with US rider Lindsey Jacobellis in second place and three time world champion Dorian Vidal of France in third.
The next two halfpipe events will be in Whistler, Canada, on November 10 and 11.
