The Australian moguls team has had two days of training on the world championship course in Ruka, with OWI Head Moguls Coach Steve Desovich happy with the hill and the progress of the team.

“We’re very happy with the course,” Desovich said. “It’s got good quality snow on it, and it isn't too icy and hard, which courses can be in this part of the world.”

“We’re very much taking things as usual. Yesterday we were mainly getting to know the course, we did some jumps and partial runs today and tomorrow we will do some complete runs.”

“The day before the competition you’d like to get in there and do a few high intensity complete runs and then get out early, but these days there doesn’t seemto be as much emphasis on doing full runs, so we’ll probably finish up having a two hour session.”

The moguls team of Dale Begg-Smith, Jason Begg-Smith, Nick Fisher, Michael Robertson and Manuela Berchtold is having its last day of training on Friday.
