Beach volleyball champion Natalie Cook has called on Australia's top beach flags racer, Simon Harris, to help her prepare for her fifth Olympic Games campaign in 2012.
Cook is hoping she'll improve her sand skills by training with Harris as she attempts to become the first female to compete at five summer Olympics.
Harris won a record eighth national beach flags crown at Kurrawa beach on the Gold Coast this year.
"Simon's agility on the sand is obviously second to none so I figured if I could learn a few tricks of his trade it just might help my plans for London," Cook said.
"He's a wizard on the beach and that's my home as well, so I figure you bring the best of both worlds together - it has got to help my game."
The pair held their first training session on the Gold Coast on Wednesday.
