The New South Wales Institute of Sport/Ski and Snowboard Australia Development mogul team has arrived in Silver Star, BC, Canada, to commence training for their international season campaign.

The team includes Emma Chapman-Davies, Nicole Parks, Sam Hall, David Graham, Rohan Chapman-Davies and Robert Lovick, who is also a dual scholarship athlete with the OWI.

After spending the month of December training in Silver Star, the team will then head to Calgary, Alberta, Canada for a Nor-Am event, and then will travel to Europe for a series of Europa Cup events.

Robert Lovick will also be attending World Cup events at the 2010 Olympic Site in Vancouver, Canada, and the 2009 World Championship venue at Inawashiro, Japan.

NSWIS/SSA Head Coach Peter “Toppa” Topalovic was very happy with the early season facilities in Silver Star.

“The Silver Star aerial site was built during the last few days, and the team had a great first day jumping” Topalovic reports.

“A little more snow is needed for us to build a full length mogul course, but the aerial site will provide great training for the team until then.”
