Joking around: Preparing for the race in Lillehammer with Australian female luger Ashley Cooney.

Below is a pic of me lined up at the ladies start at the luge track in Lillehammer, Norway. This is where I start in my race reaching speeds up to 120kmph. It was also -22 degrees at one point in Lillehammer, not fun!

BRONZE! This pic is of the podium at Lillehammer. Seeing the Australian flag on the podium was probably the proudest moment of my life.

Pre-race training - This photo is of Sigulda in Latvia, where I spent the first week training before the competition in Norway. This track had the highest G force out of them all, created from a long straight before a sharp second last corner.

And finally, a snowy picture of Kongissee in Germany. Many believe its the hardest track. I came 9th out of 36 and pulled the fastest start time in the competition. This track features a straight that isn't straight (it's hard to turn a luge accurately without skidding) and a 360 degree turn with 3 pressure points.
