Biathlete Mark Raymond has finished in front of team-mate Cameron Morton for the first time this season, placing 105th to Morton's 106th in the World Cup sprint in Rupholding, Germany.

Biathlete Mark Raymond has finished in front of team-mate Cameron Morton for the first time this season, placing 105th to Morton's 106th in the World Cup sprint in Rupholding, Germany.

Morton suffered for his inaccuracy, missing four targets to Raymond's two.

The event was won by Norwegian Frode Andresen in a time of 25 minutes 3.5 seconds from German duo Michael Roesch and Michael Gries.

Raymond was four minutes 31.4 seconds behind the winning time, with Morton a further two seconds back.
