The OWI moguls skiing team produced five top ten results, spread across three team members, and six finals (top 12) results in the course of the 2003/04 World Cup season. It was one of the strongest all round performances that an Australian moguls team has delivered, and augurs well for the future, and for Torino 2006
Dale Begg-Smith finished sixth in Deer Valley and seventh in Madonna, while Manuela Berchtold also took two top ten results from the season, eighth in Lake Placid and tenth in Deer Valley.
Michael Robertson finished in ninth place in Madonna, and also strung together five straight top five finishes at one point in the season. Nick Fisher made his World Cup debut with a stunning 14th place in his first start in Ruka, Finland, during early December.
The NSWIS/SSA National Development Team also produced a series of best performances. Anna Segal won her first Europa Cup event, also picking up three minor medals, while Davina Williams matched that performance winning the second Europa Cup event of her career and making the podium on three other occasions.
Mark Babbage added a ninth medal – his first in Europa Cup – to the team's collection.
