Jo Shaw has ridden to her first parallel GS top thirty World Cup result for the season in Alpe d’Huez, France. The Skiing Australia snowboarder finished in 29th place in the first qualification round, then in 26th place in the second round to place 29th overall.

Her total time of 1 minute 27.71 was 2.16 seconds outside qualifying for the 16 woman head to head finals round.

A day earlier, the 21-year-old had finished in 36th place in another PGS.

The first of the two events was won by Daniela Meuli of Switzerland and the second by Julie Pomagalski of France.
