Johanna Shaw has ridden to another top 20 result in World Cup, finishing 20th in snowboard cross in Berchtesgaden, Germany. The Skiing Australia snowboarder missed the quarter final round by 1.8 seconds, but racked up her second top 20 for the season.

The event was won by Line Oestvold, the Norwegian rider taking her maiden World Cup victory in only the third event of her career, and her sixth at any FIS competition level.

Austrian veteran Manuela Riegler was second, with Dominique Maltais of Canada in third.

Despite a below par performance in Berchtesgaden, French rider Karine Ruby continues to lead the World Cup snowboard cross standings on 3060 points from Maltais on 2110.
