SSA Snowboarder Johanna Shaw has completed her final Olympic lead up event with great success, winning the Nor-Am Parallel Gianst Slalom in Steamboat, Colorado, USA. The victory gives Johanna great confidence heading into Torino.

A strong field competed on a soft course which struggled to hold up following heavy overnight snowfalls. Many Torino Olympic athletes took part in the event, their last before heading to Italy.

Johanna backed up her Parralel Giant Slalom victory with a win in the non olympic event of Parralel Slalom on day two.

In both events Canadian World Cup athlete Kimico Zakreski finished in second place with team mate Constance Boisvert in third.
