It was just the fourth World Cup of her career for the 19-year-old Brisbane skater.
Mark McNee was again the best of the Australian men, finishing in 27th place in the men’s 500m. He made it through the qualifying round with a second placing, then finished fourth in the first heat.
In the 1000m he also won his way through thie preliminary round with a second placing, ending the event in 28th place.
The Australian team finished in fourth place behind Canada, Italy and Belgium to miss a spot in the 5000m relay semifinals. The Korean team took the gold medal from china and Canada, with the Australians ending in 14th place in the distance classification.
