TENNIS: Three Australian doubles teams including two women's doubles pairings are still alive and in the pursuit of a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
At 1.00pm on court 6, world No.1 Ash Barty and Storm Sanders will take on top seeds and Roland Garros champions Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic for a place in the semi finals.
As a pair, Barty and Sanders are yet to lose a set on court this week and are enjoying the opportunity of playing together.

“We've always enjoyed playing together, we complement each other well, we have fun, and I think we try and play our tennis in a really positive way. That's how we play our best doubles,” Barty said on Monday.
“We're still on the hunt for a medal for Australia. Hopefully, we can still go out there and keep having fun.”
Former world No.1 doubles player and multiple Grand Slam champion Sam Stosur and top 50 doubles player Ellen Perez take on Swiss pair Belinda Bencic and Vikorija Golubic in the fourth match on court 1.
“We’re stoked,” Stosur said about advancing to the quarterfinals on Monday.
Twenty-five-year-old Perez said the pair are getting stronger as the week goes by.
“I feel like we’ve always had really good chemistry. But to be able to get on court and just hash a few things out, make some plays and go over a few things, I think it’s really helping and we’re getting better and better as we go,” Perez said.
Australia’s women’s doubles pairings are at the opposite ends of the draw. Should they continue to advance they would not meet until the final.

Fourth match on court 3 will see Australia’s mixed doubles team of Barty and John Peers make their first appearance in Tokyo.
Peers is Australia’s No.1 men’s doubles player at world No.25 and he reached the mixed doubles semifinals at Wimbledon. Barty, is the nation’s highest ranked female doubles player at world No.36.
They have played five Grand Slams together including a quarterfinal run at the 2013 Wimbledon and 2014 US Open but have not played together since.
“It’s always an amazing opportunity and honour to represent the green and gold. I am very excited to get out and compete again,” Peers said ahead of the mixed doubles today.
“I always have a blast playing with Ash and I know we combined very well together back in 2014 so I can't see why we can't gel together quickly again. Ash and I know each other very well.”
Mixed doubles was first added to the Olympic Games schedule in London 2012.
