Australia’s three women aerial skiers have qualified for the final of the World Cup in Deer Valley, Utah. Jacqui Cooper led the way with second place, scoring 100.51 points to finish just behind Belarussian All Tsuper on 100.99.

Jacqui Cooper led the way with second place, scoring 100.51 points to finish just behind Belarussian All Tsuper on 100.99.

OWI team-mate Lydia Lassila was three places behind Cooper, her triple twisting double somersault seemingly underscored by the judges at 87.42 points.

The third member of the Australian trio, Liz Gardner was in ninth place on 79.38 points.

The final will be held at 12:30pm AEDT Saturday.

At the same venue, Ski and Snowboard Australia skier Jenny Owens has qualified in 12th place in the ski cross World Cup.

She faces a tough quarter final, with four-time World Cup winner Ophelie David of France in her group.

The ski cross final will be held early Sunday morning AEDT.
