OWI snowboarder Holly Crawford has finished ninth in the World Cup halfpipe in Stoneham, Canada, while team-mates Ben Mates and Mitchell Allan both produced personal best results in the men’s event.

OWI snowboarder Holly Crawford has finished ninth in the World Cup halfpipe in Stoneham, Canada, while team-mates Ben Mates and Mitchell Allan both produced personal best results in the men’s event.
Crawford finished seventh in the opening qualification round, but slipped back in the second round to collect her second top ten result of the season.
The women’s event was won by Japanese rider Soko Yamaoka from Swiss rider Manueal Pesko and British veteran Lesley McKenna.
McKenna’s bronze medal propelled her to the top of the World Cup standings, displacing Torah Bright.
Bright, who opted to miss the Stoneham event for a Grand Prix event in Utah, skipped back to fourth on the rankings.
Ben Mates was the best of the Australians, finishing 15th in a personal best results.
Team-mate Mitchell Allan also collected his first top 20 result with a 19th place, an impressive performance for a 15 year old rider in just his second event on the circuit.
Andrew Burton finished in 33rd place.
The men’s event was won by Finnish rider Antti Autti, his third straight victory for the season.
