The Turkish girls football team has vowed to focus on its own performance when it takes on Chile in the semifinals of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games football tournament on Saturday.
Turkey coach Aslan Hamdi says it's "important" for his side to lift its workrate while not concentrating on Chile's capabilities.
"I watched Chile lose 4-1 to Equatorial Guinea, and I think they are equal," he said.
"But now the intensity is a bit higher, so I think it will be a hard game. It's more important how our team plays."
Turkish defender Nazmiye Aytop, who scored two goals against Papua New Guinea in a 4-0 rout in Wednesday, has her eyes fixed firmly on a Youth Olympic Games football gold medal.
"I would like to finish first," Aytop said.
"I believe that we are (a) good team, so I am confident about our chances."
In the other semifinal, free-scoring Equatorial Guinea meet Iran in what shapes as a fascinating fixture.
The Equatorial Guinea outfit features the competition's leading scorer in Felicidad Avomo, who has netted four goals in two games.
"We will see what happens when we play against Iran. We will do everything to get the win and advance to the final," she said.
"I think Equatorial Guinea, so far, is the best team in this competition."
Iran coach Shahrzad Mozaffar says third place would constitute a successful Singapore campaign.
"I saw Equatorial Guinea's various strengths on Wednesday," Mozaffar said.
"They are a very quick, very fast, very dangerous team.
"I will be a very difficult game for us."
The semifinals take place at Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday. Turkey vs Chile kicks off at 18:00, while Equatorial Guinea meet Iran at 20:45.
