The youngest members of the NSWIS/SSA Mogul team have led the way in the Europa Cup moguls event in San Martino Di Castrozza, Italy. The field for the event included a total of 16 Nations and 92 competitors.
The youngest member of the program, 15 year-old Robert Lovick, led the team in Friday's single moguls, finishing in 21st place, as well as Sunday's Italian Cup single moguls where he recorded his first ever open level competition podium, in second place.
Ramone Cooper, only 16 years-old, recorded the team's best result in Saturday's dual moguls, finishing in 11th place. Ramone unfortunately had to sit out Sunday's Italian Cup event with sore shins.
Andrew Sirianni was unable to reproduce his personal best fourth place result at last week's event, finishing in 54th and 21st place. Andrew chose to sit out the Italian Cup due to some minor injuries.
Mark Babbage produced his best result in Sunday's Italian Cup, finishing in seventh place in the final.
Competing in her first Europa Cup events, Karinya Turnbull placed 26th and 28th.
NSWIS/SSA Head Coach Peter 'Toppa' Topalovic, was excited by Robert Lovick's progress. "He has been developing extremely well during our time overseas this winter. His run in the Italian Cup on Sunday was his best ever competition run to date."
The team now heads to Bad Wiessee, Germany, for its final event of the international season.
