Victorian walker Andrew Jachno competed at Los Angeles 1984, Seoul 1988 and Barcelona 1992. His best result was 19th in the 50 kilometres event at Seoul. He competed in the Commonwealth Games at Brisbane 1982 and Auckland 1990 and the 1987 World Championships at Rome, with a best result of second in the 30 kilometres event at Auckland. He won three titles at the Australian track and field and walking championships.
