Anthony's Story

At the 1998 Nagano Olympics, Anthony Evans became Australia’s first cross country skier to represent his country at three Olympic Games, having previously competed at Albertville 1992 and Lillehammer 1994. In Albertville, he posted arguably his best Olympic result, finishing 37th out of a field of 110 skiers. He competed at two World Championships (1997 Trondheim, Norway and 1993 Falun, Sweden), with his best result being 36th in the 10km Classic in 1997.
