Anthony "Jim" Willard competed in the tennis singles and doubles (with Jim Bayley) at Paris 1924. He, like Bayley, made it through to the third round of the singles and the pair lost to the eventual winners, Americans Vincent Richards and Frank Hunter, in the second round of the doubles.
Willard had been decorated with a Military Medal and bar for valorous action during World War I.
