Arnie's Story

By the time Arnie Dickins moved to Australia from his birth country Great Britain when he was 14, he had won two British Championships and three British School Championships. Dickins won his first senior Australian Championship in 2010 and went on to win the senior Oceania Championship in the same year. He again won the Oceania Championship in 2012 to book his ticket to the London 2012 Games.

Dickins competed in the U/60kg division in London and was knocked out in the first round by Georgia’s Betkili Shukvani.
