Arthur's Story

1887-1924

Arthur McCabe, from NSW, played in the halves in the Olympic match and scored two tries. He had a hand in the most spectacular try in the game, that was scored by Tom Richards. Like many of his team-mates, McCabe converted to rugby league after the gold medal winning tour.
