Beach Volleyball Women's 24-team Tournament
Becchara Palmer began competing in the sport in 2005 and made the FIVB World Tour in 2007. In 2008, the Victorian teamed up with Louise Bawden and the pair went on to qualify for the London 2012 Games as one of the top 16 pairings in the world.
On Olympic debut in London, Palmer and Bawden fought out three tough matches but could not record a win at the iconic Horse Guards Parade venue.
