Ben's Story

Ben St Lawrence represented Australia at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the 5000m and 10,000m and the 2011 World Championships in 5000m. The Sydneysider set the Australian record for the 10,000m in May 2001, on the first day of the qualification period for the London Olympics.

At the age of 30, St. Lawrence made his Olympic debut in 2012 where he finished 20th in the 10,000m final in London in front of a parochial British crowd as Mo Farah claimed gold.
