South Australian gymnast Ben Wilden made his Olympic debut in Beijing in 2008, as Australia’s sole representative in trampolining. With a total score of 67.10, Wilden finished 13th. Wilden competed at three World championships – 2005, 2007, 2009 - with his best result being 21st in 2007. In 2001, Wilden competed at the inaugural Sydney Youth Olympic Festival, winning silver, followed by gold two years later at the 2003 Australian Youth Olympic Festival.
